The day has finally arrived!
With the support of all the amazing & wonderful donations from so many Glenys has moved into her own home in Doveton with 24 hr support 7 days a week. She is thriving and becoming so much more independent every day. To say we are all thrilled and happy that this move for our gorgeous Glenys has gone to well is a huge understatement. Glenys is so happy. Her happiness has made this tough change for us as her family confident that we have done the absolute best for our girl.
As most of you are aware the trust was set up for the benefit of both Glenys & Tegan. Sadly, we lost our beautiful much loved and adored Tegan in December 2022. We are all lost without her and miss her every single day. Glenys move into her home in Doveton brought with it mixed emotions for us all. Happiness for Glenys but sadness that Tegan is not there to share this home with her. We feel Tegan around us always especially on sunny days. She loved nothing more than the sun on her face and the wind in her hair, the simple things…..
Without the support & generosity of you all this move would not have been as seamless. The funds that were raised have been fully utilized to set the house up, new furniture, electrical goods, linens and everything you could imagine that was necessary for the functionality of the house and the benefit of Glenys. Let ‘s not forget the huge television that has pride of place on the wall in her lounge room. She spends many hours when she is home picking and watching her favourite shows on Netflix.
Now that her move is complete the trust is being wound up and has ceased accepting donations as of the 30.06.2025.
